Three of my favorite movies are Monsters Inc., The Notebook, and A Walk To Remember. The Notebook and A Walk To Remember's genre is Drama/Romance. Monster Inc. is Comedy/ Family/Fantasy/Animation. These are some of my favorite movies because they fall into my favorite film genres. My favorite film genres are romance and comedy.
Monsters Inc. is directed by Pete Docter and released in the U.S. on November 2 2001. This movie was produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Theaters. and The main characters are James P. "Sulley" Sullivan voiced by John Goodman, Mike Wazowski voiced by Billy Crystal and Boo/Mary voiced by Mary Gibbs. Monsters Inc. is one of my favorite movies because it makes me laugh and cry. The film genre is comedy/animation/Family/Fantasy. It falls under comedy because the plot line has funny parts. The animated characters are involved in situations that you wouldn't find in the real world. This movie is also under Family/Fantasy because the script is rated G, which means it is family friendly and has no foul language, violence, or any other obscene materials. It's also based on fictional/ fantasy characters in a fictional situation. This movie makes me laugh because the people who play the voices of the characters are comedians. It also makes me cry because of the plot line. I really enjoyed this movie because I could relate to being a little kid and being afraid of monsters.
The Notebook is directed by Nick Cassavetes and released in the U.S. on June 25 2004.This film was produced by Toby Emmerich (executive producer), Lynn Harris (producer), Mark Johnson (producer), and Avram 'Butch' Kaplan (executive producer). The main characters are Ryan Gosling who plays Noah Calhoun, Tim Ivey who plays Rower
and Rachel McAdams who plays Allie Hamilton. This is one of my favorite movies because of it's film genre which is Romance/Drama. I like to watch dramatic films that ends up also being romantic. This film is a categorized as drama because the plot involves life situations and shows the characters at good, bad and in between times in there life. This film is also categorized as romance because the plot includes two people falling in love.
A Walk To Remember is directed by Adam Shankman and released on January 25 2002 in the U.S. This movie was produced by Denise DiNovi and Hunt Lowry for Warner Bros. Pictures to release. The main characters are Landon Carter played by Shane West and Jamie Sullivan played by Mandy Moore. This film also falls under the Genre Romance/Drama. This film is romantic because once again, two people end up falling in love. This film is categorized as drama because it to has real life situations and also includes real life issues, and problems.
