Aloha, my name is Kaycee Magday. I am currently a junior at James Campbell High School. I was born in Hawaii and raised in the city Ewa Beach. I am hard working, reliable, and responsible. I don't like to see my grade point average lower than a 3.5 and I don't like getting grades lower than a 'B'. After high school, I plan to attend college to become a Pediatrician. I want to become a pediatrician because I want to become a doctor and I also enjoy working with little kids. I enjoy working with little kids because I like to hear that I am making an impact on someones life and helping them become a better person. When I was younger I had many mentors that made an impact on my life and help me grow into the person I am today. I hope to graduate with an IB diploma in the year 2010. I also hope to get scholarships that'll pay my way into college.
I enjoy watching many genres of film. I enjoy comedy, romance, horror, action, and dramatic films. My most favorite genre to watch is comedy because it's purpose is to make us audience laugh and I could always enjoy to laugh. My favorite film is Monsters Inc. directed by Pete Docter, Lee Unkrich, and David Silverman. I enjoy this film because it makes me laugh. The characters in this film are almost like real-life characters we know of. For example, there are characters drawn from a chameleon, Medusa, and slugs. Although I have grown out of watching cartoon shows and grown into watching more dramatic and reality shows, this film reminds me of my childhood memories. For example, when I was younger I would be afraid monsters because people would tell me it would eat me. Then I realized monsters are fictional characters in fairy tales and people scared me with monsters to scare me from doing bad things. Watching Monsters Inc. can always make me happy after a bad day.
